The best day trips

Chamonix

Aiguille du Midi, Mer de Glace, Chamonix centre, lunch, back to Megève. The Y82 bus connects Megève to Chamonix, Combloux and Saint-Gervais.

Annecy

10am old town, 12:30 lunch, 2:30pm lake, 4:30pm boat trip or stroll, 6pm back.

Saint-Gervais-les-Bains

Thermal baths, historic centre, Mont-Blanc Tramway, hiking, restaurants.

Combloux

Excellent for a quiet half-day and a different viewpoint on the Mont-Blanc massif.

Best for hiking, in a much less polished atmosphere than Megève.
